The digitized waveforms can be downloaded in one ZIP file and viewed with the
off-line viewer that is provided.

and put it in any folder you wish.
After being unzipped the program is completely self contained and will not
change any of your other files. No further installation process is required. ArcView can be removed from your computer by just deleting
the folder.

Be sure to run ArcView in FULL SCREEN mode since it is a DOS program.
If it starts in a Window, click on the 'Properties' icon , then the
'Screen' tab and change the 'Usage' to 'Full Screen'.
To start the program, double click on 'ArcView.exe'.

KEYBOARD COMMANDS |
- L - Load waveform data from disk.
A list of all the waveform files will be displayed. Enter the number corresponding
to the file you want to view. The file names in this list are the same as those shown in blue
on the sample waveform page.
- D - Dots are shown for each sample.
- F - Fourier transform of the cycle at center of screen.
- H - enable Horizontal scale adjustment mode.
The horizontal scale factor can be changed by pressing the + or - key.
(you don't have to press the 'shift' key.) Either of the + and - keys can be used.
The waveform can be shifted horizontally using the left and right
arrow keys. Use 'shift-arrow' to move the waveform faster with each keypress.
- M - Menu display.
- V - enable Vertical scale adjustment mode.
The vertical scale factor can be changed by pressing the + or - key.
- Z - Zoom either Vertical or Horizontal scale.
Zooming takes place about the center of the screen.
- alt-H - Horizontal time offset=0.
The left size of the graph will be set to T=0.
- alt-V - Vertical offset=0.
The vertical offset of the waveform will be set to zero.
- alt-Z - deZoom.
Reduce the zoom factor.
- Q - Quit.

In vertical or horizontal scale mode, use the
+ or - keys to increase or decrease the scale factor.
Use the arrow keys to move the waveform horizontally or vertically.
